Performing at Cocounuts Chicago Grand Opening

Posted under Uncategorized

Happy to announce I’ll be featuring at the grand opening of Coconuts Comedy Club in Chicago the weekend of August 15th and 16th.  Cocounuts is opening a club inside of Timothy O’tooles.  They are coming to Chicago thanks to Mike Stanley national feature/headliner and founder of Comedy House.  Comedy House (of which I’m a part) runs a comedy showcase at Timothy O’tooles every other Thurs night and thanks to Mike Stanley the owner of Coconuts has decided to set up a club there Fri & Sat nights.  Should be a great addition to the Chicago comedy scene.  I’m excited to be the feature act for the first weekend!

Under the Knife

I was recently diagnosed with severe obstructive sleep apnea.  For those who don’t know what that is it basically means I stop breathing constantly throughout the night causing me to wake up hundreds of times, therefore I never get a good nights sleep.  Besides that sleep apnea could lead to other medical issues in the future if untreated.   I have had two sleep studies and seen two doctors to figure out what to do.  Today I saw an ENT who told me I have “extremely large tonsils”   After informing him he was looking at my penis he verified that my tonsils also were very large.  I was also informed I have a deviated septum.  Long story short I will be getting surgery to take out my tonsils and correct my crooked nose.  We will leave my penis as it is for now.  Hopefully this will correct my nightime breathing issues, but there is a chance I will still have to sleep with a CPAP machine, which would pump oxygen through my nose.  Needless to say this has been a pain in the ass and has probably contributed a great deal to me always being tired and pissy.  Anyway, I will be getting surgery May 14th and hopefully will become a brand new man.  Wish me luck!

Look Ma I’m on TV

Posted under Uncategorized

As I said in my last blog I recently filmed an interview and set for Comcast On Demand in Chicago.  You can currently see my interview and set if you are a Comcast subscriber in the Chicagoland area.  Just go to your On Demand menu then select “get local” followed by “comedy open-mic” and you can see me from you’re very own home on the tele.  It’s not The Tonight Show but still pretty cool.
